Log Home Sealants Overview

There are two types of sealants for log homes:

Log Chinking and Log Caulking

Which one is chosen will depend on what look you are trying to convey, and how your log home was constructed.

The difference between chinking and caulking is that caulking has a smooth appearance and chinking has a more textured appeal. Chinking is for wider joints. However, they both serve the same purpose.
